I was introduced to this tea when I was touring a garden and factory in Shaoxing. Historically, the factory produced Japanese green tea used to make bottled beverages. It has since been producing large quantities of Zhu Cha (Gun Powder), Zhejiang Long Jing, and Rizhu. Made with young leaves harvested in the earlier part of April, this tea has a sweet, creamy, and vegetal flavor.
