Tie Guan Yin

This Tie Guan Yin is grown and harvested in Maokong, Taiwan. The producer, Mr. Chang, roasts this tea for 10 hours. I first tried his Tie Guan Yin tea 10 years ago when I was walking around Maokong on an earlier tea trip.

 We haven't offered this tea for a couple of years. It's great having it back in our offerings. This particular lot was harvested and roasted mid-January.

Recommended brewing:
6g of tea; 8oz of water
95 degrees celcius
1.5 minute first infusion
