Spring Alishan Qing Xin
Qing Xin is a very common varietal of tea used to grow oolong teas all over Taiwan. It yields a light and delicate but flavorful cup.
This oolong is grown and harvested at an elevation of 1,500m. It was harvested on April 25th, 2016. Due to longer lasting cold weather, the harvest was pushed back a few weeks.
Origin: Alishan, Chiayi County, Taiwan
Harvest: Spring- April, 25th 2016
Flavor notes: Lilac, coconut, light custard melon flavor
Recommended brewing: 6g of tea; 8oz of water 90 degrees celcius
